Successful launch event

The McGill Observatory on Health and Social Services Reforms was officially launched on November 13th, 2017. The public event at the McGill Faculty Club drew over 100 people, including faculty, students, and members of the public. The keynote address from Dr. Danielle Martin, family physician and author of Better Now: Six Big Ideas to Improve Health Care for All Canadians, stimulated much conversation and excitement about the role of the Observatory in monitoring reforms, catalyzing exchange between researchers and stakeholders, and training up-and-coming researchers to tackle the big issues in health and social policy.
