Rachel McKay – Post-doctoral researcher
Rachel McKay completed a PhD at the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia, in 2017. Her dissertation research used linked administrative datasets to explore the drivers of variations among physicians in managing common infections in the community, with the goal of contributing to improved antibiotic stewardship. Rachel is currently doing her post-doctoral training in health services research and policy with the Observatory, and is involved in projects exploring trajectories of care, impacts of policies and reforms, and the organization of the health and social services system in Quebec.
